ELECTRICAL SAFETY FOR ELECTRICAL WORKERS

The purpose of this unit is to give trainees a general understanding of electrical safety issues facing workers who work with electricity on a daily basis including electricians, engineers and equipment technicians. At the conclusion of this unit, trainees will have an understanding of some basics requirements and principles for everyday electrical work, when and how electrical lockout/tagout procedures are used, and the requirements for work on or around energized circuits or parts.
