ELECTRICAL SAFETY FOR ALL WORKERS

The purpose of this unit is to give trainees a general understanding of electrical safety issues facing all workers. At the conclusion of this unit, trainees will have an understanding of some basics about electrical safety that everyone should know; safeguards associated with electrical installations, and the purpose and operation of circuit protection devices; the safe use or portable electric tools and equipment; and the hazards and precautions you should take when working around electric power lines.
