The purpose of this unit is to provide trainees with a brief overview of common safety issues that are associated with safety in the workplace. At the conclusion of this unit, trainees will have a general under standing of workplace safety issues that are associated with safe work habits, personal protective equipment, hazard communication, and fire prevention.
