This interactive training unit is designed to familiarize trainees with various types of electrical diagrams. After completing this unit, trainees should be able to explain why symbols are used on electrical diagrams, and how to obtain information from a title block and an equipment location index. They should also be able to explain how to use each of the following types of diagrams: block, single line, schematic, wiring, connection, inter-connection, and raceway.
